Terms of Service

Draft version: 2026-09-13

Production legal review required. Controller identity, governing law, consumer-rights language, age/minor policy and any paid-service terms must be finalized before launch.

These terms describe the intended use of BodyTrace. BodyTrace organizes health information and may generate structured summaries or automated matches, but it does not create a doctor-patient relationship and is not a replacement for emergency or professional medical care.

1. Intended use

You may use BodyTrace to enter, organize, review and export health-related information for personal informational purposes. You are responsible for providing information you are authorized to use and for protecting any report or export you save or share.

2. Medical limitations

Automated content, rankings, matches and summaries are informational only unless a specific feature is formally validated and legally authorized for a stated medical purpose. You must not rely on BodyTrace as the sole basis for diagnosis, emergency decisions or changes to medication or treatment. The Medical Disclaimer forms part of these terms.

3. Emergency and safety use

Do not use BodyTrace to delay emergency care. When symptoms may be urgent, seek immediate professional assistance and follow local emergency instructions.

4. Account and service security

Do not impersonate another person, bypass authentication or access controls, probe or attack the service, automate abusive requests, scrape private content, introduce malicious code, or attempt to obtain another user's information.

5. Availability and changes

The service may change, be interrupted, or be unavailable for maintenance, security, legal or operational reasons. Features may be added, modified or removed where reasonably necessary.

6. No warranty

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, BodyTrace and its informational outputs are provided on an “as available” basis without a guarantee that every output is accurate, complete, uninterrupted, current or medically suitable for a particular person or purpose.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the service provider is not liable for loss caused by treating informational or AI-assisted output as a confirmed medical diagnosis or by using the service contrary to its stated safety limitations. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence where it cannot be excluded, death or personal injury where applicable law prohibits exclusion, or any statutory consumer right that cannot lawfully be waived.

8. Intellectual property

BodyTrace branding, software, original interface content and related materials remain protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms do not transfer ownership of the service or its proprietary elements to users.

9. Privacy

Processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy. Health information may receive special legal protection and must be handled according to the final production data-protection framework.
